ABOUT US
The Church is a place where you belong as a devoted Christian to worship and fellowship together we fellow believers of the faith. Attending worship services faithfully is of the utmost importance. Many strong Christians have become weak, and many weak Christians have totally fallen away, because at some point they began to miss worship services and Bible study on a regular basis.
A Christian's attendance of services has been rightfully declared by many, as a thermometer indicating one's fervour for the Lord. One cannot truthfully say he is a faithful child of God if he/she does not attend worship services regularly.
This is the reason for planting Victory Baptist Church. We are a branch of Trinity Baptist Church, West Norwood. and have been in the Tooting area since July 2000. Victory Baptist Church is also part of the Baptist Union of Great Britain and the London Baptist Association.
We believe in God - The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, as the Creator of all things. And the Bible in its entirety as the infallible inspired Word of God.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the first-begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified, died and was buried, was resurrected, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God interceding for us.
We believe in personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ and that salvation is by grace through faith, by believing with the heart and confessing with the mouth the Lord Jesus, all shall be saved.
We believe in Water Baptism and Baptism of the Holy Spirit. We also believe in the speaking of tongues as the Holy Spirit of God gives utterance, in the gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit.
We believe in divine healing, through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ, and that healing is included in the Redemption and that by His stripes we are healed.
We believe in the rapture, that the dead in Christ shall rise first and those who are alive shall be caught up to meet Jesus in the air; the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost.
We believe in receiving tithes and offerings in the local church and give regularly to the poor, needy and missions, especially BMS World Missions.
Our Mission is: WINNING THE PEOPLE TO WIN THE CITY. We focus on dynamic Biblical teachings, inspirational worship, effective and compassionate prayer as tools for building the people to win the city.
Our Vision is: To raise, edify and equip a generation of believers committed to serving God in humility, integrity and in the true likeness of Christ, and create opportunities for the fulfilment of their potentials.
Our focus is to evangelise and make an impact on the community regardless of the ethnic, gender, beliefs or social background. We are more concerned about the positive impact that we can make on the community as this will naturally brings church growth and a change in the lives of those we come in contact with.
Victory Baptist Church is also a member of Tooting Churches Together which is made up of many churches that meet regularly to discuss community issues and plan joint projects in the Tooting area.

Our premises can be rented to host your functions inclduing: Weddings and Wedding receptions, Launcheons, Business Conferences and many more. We also have a catering and decoration service for all your refreshments and dinner programs. And a well furnished internet cafe for your business use and leisure.
